heye veryone jsut wondering if anyone has a rh door that would fit a 63 bug,preferably with glass.im after one because my door keeps coming ope,.ive tried a new striker plate but still no different.i thinkit it the latch ont he door that ahs had it.so if anyone can help plz let me now,im in newcastle.isaac
replace the actual latch. they tend to wear out as well. You have to remove the doorpanel and doorhandle to get at it. A replacement latch is about $30.

yeah isaac its not too hard, i did it on the oval after replacing the striker plate didnt work, i had a rope tying the door shut all the way to Valla

One man's junk...
haha mine just needed adjustment when my door was flying open...... a hand out the window holdint it or an elastic strap took care of it till i adjusted the plate.
where can i get the latch from? vintage vww dub said it would cost about 200 to fix it(the latch) where did u guys get new latches from?
