Zak is on the Market as you prbably know,
but after driving him every day the week before last, I'm very tempted to keep him. Sure there are a few things I'd want to change...ok a long list, including adding a heater, but i'm not sure if I should keep him or not, What do you guys reckon?

Here he is...

only sell if you financially absolutly have to as with unique cars you rarely get in $ what youve put into them ($ & blood, sweat & tears).

As Alot of us have seen on this forum, many (I mean heaps) of people who have sold their vee dubs have regreted it and absolutely missed it to bits.

Mate, its a gorgeous buggy. Shes worth the keep, but if u need the cash, then i spose u have no choice. But if you are able to keep her in anyway, DO IT. The worst thing you could ever feel is that regret that all the other folks have.

Well, thats my opinion. I was checking that buggy out on carsales.com.au (well i think it was that site), I thought it was quite nice. Luv it mate (sorry, but i ain't got 22k lol). But its definitely worth the keep. If u have any doubt at all about selling it off, then dont to it.

Cheers. 😉

Dont Sell unless your desperate!...how much do you want for it?? also are you interested in cruising together one day if you have it for a little while longer? i also have a buggy and live around the corner.
Before you judge someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you judge them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Have to talk to the boss again. But if I do, he's gonna get some more work, he needs more ground clearance...:thumb

Pete if I were you I would keep it. With all the work that you've put into Zak it should be you that gets to enjoy it, not others. But it's your decision.

But me - KEEP IT :thumb

Wibble, there are some things in life more valuable than buggies. One of them is peace, and the other one is my wife Liz.

...and she's not even watching while i write this. 😀

She's said ok anyway. Afterall, no one's shown any interest, so she said lets keep it and see what happens.

See, women are great value. 😉

As for the car, I think I might just keep it after all...

Driving Zak is a hoot, no matter what the 'no subaru' purists say.

Took him into town the other day. Top fun. Lots of people smiled at me and a few had a chuckle as well. How many cars do that for people? Not many I reckon, and anything that can give people an innocent chuckle and a smile is a good thing in my books. For some that was probably the only smile they had all day.

Driving him reminds me I still got some things to do, but so what, that's what owning a modified car means.

It's beautiful outside, maybe I'll take him to church this arvo....🙂
