There are no jobs in the gong, only unemployment, misery, spousal abuse and alcohol and drug dependancies.
Large numbers of suicides clean up those who dont die from the polluted air down there from heavy industry.
Try Sydney like everybody else who needs a job, none of those problems

haha........ need a job to support my addiction to alcohol, fun, and i choose wollongong coz thats where im studying.

Sounds like a bit of a dilemma that C-link can only half fill the bottle. Last year i had $70 a fortnight to live on after rent, c-link doesn’t take into account the idea of "recreational fun" at all.:duh

....bummer Adz.....try the local cafes....bars....restaurants.....there is always casual bar and waiting stuff......also kitchen hand work....that's what a lot of students and travellers do here to survive.....you need to walk into places charm them and give them your resume...just type up a basic one telling them Education History...and any other jobs you might have had like Pizza Hut...Macca's....helping at a family member or friend's business on holidays....whatever
If you haven't worked to get referees then grab 3 people you know who can give a character reference....I'd bet there's a 3 people here that can do that for you.....

well HSC, cert 2 in hospitality (2nd yr apprentice) 2 yrs in a restaurant, 1 year in a cafe ......... theres is plain and simply bugger all jobs. i have done a walk around and tried to pick up jobs, ill get my rsa and get a bit of work in one of the clubs.
