Hi guys,

can any one recomend a good company that does vw restorations around sydney. i live in liverpoolm but will travel any were around sydney for a good job to my car.

Go and talk with Boris at Vintage Vee Dub in Campsie 9789-1777 just down the M5

What year and model is your car ..... are you in a club ???

Have you worked out a budget as yet and how or what you want to do to the car..... You must have this clear with yourself first before you go and talk restos or modifications....

It all adds up and sometimes goes over what you planned ...

So make a listing of the must haves and the maybes before you go and talk

I think that "sometimes goes over what you planned"
is a bit of an understatement.
What ever you have put aside for the resto , double it and then you will be half way there.

Always get quotes in writing and list everything.

Also peoples perception of resto can be different. To some a respray and a retrim of the seats is a resto. To others it is stripping the shell to just a roof and heater channels skeleton

i have a 62 beetle ragtop, i dont wana go over 10k for everything.

i am not in a club.
