Gday I am selling a front end to suit 1970 beetle 1500cc with selector drops installed by AVWP in croydon. I believe the beam would suit a bug between 68 and 70 the ball joint type front end. They were installed to create the lowest amount of drop possible. If you are new to the world of the VW these are adjustable points 2 of on your beams that allow you to change your hieght profile. This can be done very very easy by jacking up the front end and adjusting the bracket winding it up or down. In other words a 5min Job. This is perfect if you want to either show or just lower your bug and allow both movement from normal hieght to lowered hieght. I have removed this front end out of my car due to the bad roads around here after seeing that I only had 50-60mm at hieghest adjustment of clearance after the installation of newly bought drop spindles and mainly cos I need some money. The front end is in very good condition and has only been on the car for the last eight months max without the drop spindles installed. With drop spindles I had the ability to drop it to the weeds (it looked really cool) but decided not to chance driving it that low so I removed the front end. If I didn't have bad roads down here I would keep it. Simply with selctor drops it lowers the car a decent 2 - 3 inches. I have 135r15 wheels on and with just these it lowered the car to a nice ride hieght just about 1½ inches above these wheels. It cost me a fair amount $950 inclusive of fitting by australian volkswagen performance centre in croydan so I am upset that I have to let it go. If you want to ask about the beam you could contact them. However the money I get for this is going towards another VW project. I am open to realistic offers I am not expecting to get a huge amount of money and the front end will be available as of this coming tuesday. Interstate buyers are welcome as long as they sort out a courier etc. I would prefer pickup of goods though due to work commitments.
