hahaha exactly 😉

ive got some schmick seats but theyre the wrong colour for my new paint scheme, if i could change the colour of the seats but keep them looking good it'd be well worth it.

Just did my headliner/visors/rear-view mirror the other week. It turned out sweet. The only problem with vinyl dye is that it will wear off after a while in high use areas - like seats. I'd be wary. You wouldn't want your clothes to start getting stained the colour of your seats, and wouldn't want your seats to have a big patch of rubbed away paint where you sit. Definately test it first somehow.

It's great stuff. Works a treat. It might wear in time in high wear areas but you just touch it up. Just spray on. Make sure what you're colouring is super clean as you'd do with anything you're painting.

I've used it on my sun visors. It works OK but it is really a paint, not a dye. I have found that it wears off at the points where it rubs. Don't know how well it would work on high wear items like seats.

I painted a Toraaanna seat black years ago... it might have been my application, but it cracked off here and there...

We have used it before-mainly to change brown to black or a light colour to a darker one.
You must make sure it is clean from all grease etc first and it usually takes two coats.
We used VHT brand from Auto Pro.
Ford dyed all GT Falcon seats black from brown Fairmont ones and they lasted.!!!!
