Hi all
Just had a call from an AVD member who is on his way to Mackay, from Brisbane.
Hes stuck at the BP Servo at Forest Glen, mooloolaba turn off, Sunny coast.

Hes rang me to put up a post asking if anyone can help with elctrics, probably Generater or Regulater problem, if anyone has a meter to test them or spares?

His number is Shane 0407 594 931

Hope he gets sorted

He needs a replacement generater, if anyone is travelling that way today I have one he can have its just getting it there.
If there is anyone nearer can you call him he can pick up

Just took Shane to get some temporary transport to chase parts. we did some testing with a meter and found that he needs a generator AND a regulator. Please call him on 0407 594 931 if you can help. thanks....Stuart.

Crazy George sorted some bits for him. Waiting to hear whether hes up and running.
apparently the problem may be the 30 amp generater and a 38 amp regulater.
Nice to know there are a few helping hands when you need them eh!!!

Me again........Shane was able to access a pc today and put a post in general chit chat where, I think, most people go. He is currently still stuck and sleeping in the kombi tonight. Time now is 8.30pm sunday night.

Thats a real Bummer, we did a trip up to Mackay at easter in our Kombi. Any news on how things are going?
