Melbourne Annual Rovers Ball
Never went myself, but a lot of other Rovers in our crew went. Surfmoot was fun, but the year they didn't go to Anglesea, was the year our crew stopped going.
Mudbash was always my favourite. VW's there too. 'Razorback' Beetle with a 454 Big block in it.
I went to the last Mudbash with Cars. I think that was 2002? or was is 2003? Either way it was the last one they could get insurance for. Mudbash was cool, I'm from Queensland so it was cold, bloody cold.

we've recently had our branch ball, but razorback rovers plan on coming to surfmoot again in 2006
There were cars at Mudbash this year but under CAMS rules, too much $$$$ and hard work for most crews, there were about 15 or more cars though I think.
man it is so strange to think so many rovers are now into VW's. We just had a reunion for Kenmore Rovers last week. They were certainly good times back in the 80's and banana Bash is just not the same anymore. Have to say it but the dog still rules

yes well at least we went out in style and sent three people to hospital and taught a dog to fly. I think that we may be just in front but worth finding out. havn't heard the latest from the past bashes

i have sent an email to one of the new old kenmore rovers and matt should be able to let us know. It should all be on the actuall trophey that is passed to the winning crew each year. I don't think banana bash is actually running anymore due to insurance and lack of people wanting to organise it
