Newcastle Cruise for Pistol Pete - Let\'s get one off the ground... It\'s on - 31st July!

I'm sure many people have seen the thread about an expatriate Aussie who was seriously injured in the US in his bug. http://www.aussieveedubbers.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=41120 Coopgirl and I have been talking to Pete's brother Tony and we'd like to try and organise a run Pete's hometown of Newcastle. Possibly a cruise or some such with a donation for Pete. Please contact either of us or comment here. We don't know Newie that well but I'm sure some of the locals will have some ideas. Pete's brother will be heading over in a few weeks to join his parents who arrived yesterday to support Pete and Melanie. So we need to get this happening before Tony leaves. How good would it be for Pete to see a strong show of support from Oz. nn[ Edited on 12-7-2005 by HotRodMatt ]
