Hi all, I have a baja with rear suspension raised high. The rear tyres are wearing badly on the inside edge.I have looked and the elongated alignment holes on the spring plate have the bolts as far to the rear as possible. can anyone tell me the factory correct measurement for the rear wheel alignment?I have been measuring from the front side of the torsion bar housing to the middle of the wheel hub nut.
thanks
scott

I think the best bet is go and get a wheel alingment done at a suspension palce, and get them to adjust it. I run -1.5 degrees chamber and 4mm toe in on my track/street beetle to gove you some idea......
I have no sympathy for my car, only the wallet that pays for it!

lohoon a quick easy way to check is using two bits of wood and a tape measure plus two people. the wood peices need to be a little larger than the tyre height, now lay them horizontal across tyre ,make sure they are below the trailing arm angle..now use a tape measure across the ends..eg front of tyre nad rear of tyre...if the distance is greater towards the front of the car you have excessive tow out which will wear the inside edge..to rectify this loosen the spring plate to control arm bolts and slide the control arm forward until the measurementis within a couple of mm ..the opposite action if you have too much toe in..hope this helps cheers steve
