Hi Mark, can you post actual dimentions of the wheel for me please. Mainly the total diameter.
Cheers

Hi Dean

You can vary the diameter by using higher pressure until the car sits level, thats what Porsche say in the owners manual. I have a 15 inch one for my car and it clears my bigger brakes no worries.

Thanks Steve, I am needing to find out how big it is for the storage side of things. The storage space in my T3 karmann is very small with the battery and oil tank either side.

Hi Dean

I thought you were worried about rolling diameter.

If you are worried about space stick the Porsche Space Saver on a lathe and machine off the welds.

Then do the same to a standard beetle rim.

Then re weld the Porsche inner/centre to the VW Outer/rim.

Thats the way I have created a Porsche spare for years that fits in the spare wheel well no matter the model or year, you can put a 135, 145, 165 tyre on it.

Cheers,

Calcool

Good tip. It has to fit onto this space. The spare wheel well has 550mm of space from side to side between the battery and a 10ltr oil tank. Very tight as Goldmember would say "Tought, tought like a Tiger"
