Floor pan replacement

Hi out there,
Have just discovered major probs with the pasenger side floor pan in terms of rust. The drivers side pan looks newish, however the passenger side has been done over with body deadener to "make it look good/passable".

How big a job is the replacement? Can I (a white collar worker with the help of a technically minded friend change it)?

The idiots guide and gregorys are of no help it seems.

yeah, not too hard and can be done at home on the driveway. BUT it's not exactly beginner stuff... you will need tools, jacks, axle stands, mig welder, big grinder and a coupla days

I am sure Volksworld did a How to on doing this a while ago, check out some of the back issues, might help.
