When you ran drop spindles from CB do you have to change to a larger inner bearing on the front?

I have cb ball joint disc brake set up but don't seem to be able to use the existing inner bearing. Will not fit as it is too small. The outer fits fine.

If you do have to does any one have the specs on the bearing i need to get. Hopefully to save me some time that all.

Thanks

Yeah I am thinking I may have early ball joint set up as the steering arm that connects to the spindle will need to be changed as well as it currently has a small thread but the hole in the drop spindle is the larger type.

Not sure if this is true but if you fitted it I know then i can at least get the correct bearing some where.

Thanks for the reply

Problem solved. Ball joint spindles come in two differing thicknesses. I have the smaller ones and the cb spindles are the larger one. All with be solved when i get he new bearings.
