Need help posting images???????

I have been trying to post some images of posters, flyers, and registration forms for the kombi record attempt,see this thread:

and they wont attach for some reason. I have scanned these into my computer as "jpegs" they should be small enough to allow attaching but all I keep getting is "you are being forwarded to your post" and here is nothing there except the "edited message". I dont get an error message so I dont know whats going on.
Mind you I'm not the most computer literate person, so it could be something extremely simple I am doing wrong.
Any ideas?

Do a search for " Irfanview " under my name.

Here is a cut and paste of one of my replies

You can use painshop or one of those programmes or i use a free ware called Irfanview

you can download it at www.irfanview.com and follow the links or u2u me your email and i will send it to you.

It really is easy to use this programme for down sizing pictures.

Open picture as jpeg

Click -
Image
Resize – and set at 600 x 400 and nice large size

Then click –
File
“SAVE AS” and click options and there is a slider bar
Set it at 50

That should set the picture nice and big and only about 40kb

IF it is still over
click –
File
“SAVE AS” and click options and there is a slider bar
Set it at 30??

If you are over 50kb it says that...and just forwards you back to the site so my guess is you are over the 50kb limit.

It is quality not sive you want to reduce.

You said your image is 58kB, maximum is 50.

There is also something kooky going on with the attached images. Theres a few people who are having trouble viewing attached images. Sometimes I see them, others I dont. Sometimes I cant even see the ones I attach, but they get commented on so I just have to believe they are there. (i cant see yours on that thread)

Thanks guys it would appear its the old image size thing as you have said, all is well now. It used to tell you when they were to big. My mistake.
