buying is easy. Selling can be a pain, depends who's buying.

Paypal is good (most of the time). Don't 'bid' use www.justsnipe.com, get the item id, then post your best price. It places the bid a few secs before the end, so you don't bump the bids up!.

Get the buyers bank info. Even if they include it, ask for it anyway. Don't pay rip off postage, people usually add $5 for their trouble on top of postage, that's ok. Don't buy from HK or Taiwan unless you're prepared to get stuffed on postage or get hit with customs duty, I've bought from HK, but it's not always good.

Don't buy off sub 5 sellers. If they have 98% feedback and lots of sales (1000 plus) it's still okay most of the time, some buyers are just freeks and will bitch anyway.

Email them and ask a question, this usually shows if they are 'nice' and 'keen' or if they are struggling with the language, which may lead to mis-understandings. As a rule go and find out the 'shop' price, and then try to buy for at least 25% less, inc postage.

You can save a shed load, but 'watch' items that appear often to see what other people will pay before buying one.

I've not been ripped off yet, and had some good bargains. Even bought a car in the UK before we went on holidays there, it was all good.

Decide on your own appetite for 'risk' and don't get carried away, and defo, don't get into a bidding war, just use a sniper, you will win 9/10 and won't get sucking into paying too much.

Hope it helps.
