Hi All,

First post fro me.

Just bought a 1970 Beetle and have decided to get a new 1600 dual port for it. Anyone know some good suplliers in the US that ship to Australia. Im after some chrome engine tin, louvered firewall and other chrome bolt on bits.

yeah mate try micks motors in brisbane for a new 1600tp. he also has the other bits that your looking for.

cLASSIC Vee Dub want rip ya off either mate george is a good man I buy from him in sydney (for the tin ware) I can only speek from personal experience he is great on price and quality. I live in Melbourne and found that bits down here are very exe so I gave him a try and I haven't looked back. I bought drop spindles, rear bumper, leads and some other cool bits and pieces good luck with the job I did the same to my 1970 if you need idea's or are interested have a look under members rides for fireman bens bug....
