Best was is using LPG.

Saw a competition to chill 24 cans of beer in the quickest time possible. From room temp to a few degrees.

The winning team used a box with a fuel line running thru it which wrapped around the beers. The fuel line was attached to a 9kg gas bottle. The other end a little jet engine. The jet drained the fuel in a couple of seconds and the beer was chilled to almost zero degrees!

I think the best was the ice in the esky, add some water and then the salt. 5 minutes later it was down to 35 degress Fahrenheit. Not bad since they were only aiming for 37/38 degrees.

Yes not bad 5 mins> But Adams Idea worked the first time without the ice just the dry ice.

The problem with Adams first one was he lost so much of it in the pipes as it froze up. I woul dhave thought it would have been better if they put in less dry ice rather than replacing it with normal ice. Was quick though.

If he put water in with the salt and ice he would have a 'miricle box' ( box with copper tube filled with those ingredients to cool lots of beer fast)

as anyone who has ever had a keg in the backyard would recognise
