actually i can guess it would have to do with safety & abuse but i am going out to tamworth way to pick up a van & i dont wont to lug one of those car trailers you hire from handy hire or petrol stations as they all weigth 800kl's which is a pain when empty, ive done it before & with a van on its a better ride than without.
im thinking of just a box trailer as the van is shorten & will
fit in but then its probably is not within the rta rules.
bugger bugger, going via bellingen/dorrigo if anyones been
that way you know how steep it is then theres the bongil bongil hills at tamworth.
better check the brakes before i go love putting the bay
to the test.:thumb
Yeah those hills north of Tamworth are a pain in the Ar$e
Have fun

Hire trailers in particular, tend to be built pretty tough so they dont fall to bits when jokers put heavy 4 wheel drives and such on them. Most of those things weigh around 2 tons and the trailers tend to sag in the middle (crossways, not end to end)
Sadly, anything made tough enough for the masses tends to be heavy.
The worst part is car trailers dont need suspension as the suspension of the car does the work in dampening the ride but are an absolute bastard of a thing when unloaded....boing boing boing! Just keep looking ahead!
Good luck! Ur bay will have its tongue hanging out when its done that job M8.

Im not a complete idiot, quite a few parts are missing....
wouldnt u be better off sourcing a hire trailer at Tamworth that u can drop off closer to home and just pay the relocation fee! probably worth it!
