gday

I want to mount some fog lights on the front bumper. The easiest way to do this would be to remove the front crash bar that mounts behind and inside the front bumper, because I won't have to drill through it and can then mount them where i want. Do people think it is ok to do this? Would this give that much more protection in a crash with the spare tyre there anyway.

Let me know what you think or if you have done this yourself?

Cheers
John

You can proberly mount the spots on the outside of the bumper support so you souldnt have to remove it this way and the distance would give you a better spread of light for the spots
I read it on FACEBOOK so it must be true

The bar behind the bumper goes back to the front end assembly, so I expect it would add a lot to front end protection in a crash.
Maybe a simple bracket from the bumper or the tinware bhind the bumper would give you what you want?
