Just a Quick Question about my 1302 LS

Hi all, I've recently purchased an 1302 LS 71 Super Bug and I'm just wondering Wat the L and the S mean? is it Luxury and Sports or What?? lol newayz i know a few of the differences between the standard and my model but i would appreciate a hand. :bounce Thanks Chris

I've also got a 71 1302LS... only my S has snapped off my badge 🙁

The S was the 1600 twin port version of the 1302.

And the L meant that it had things like a flip anti-glare rear view mirror, pop out rear windows, padded dash and I think it also had the 2 speed fan which wasn't avaiable on the other 1302 models.... until '72.

Unfortunately time has not been kind to my car and it no longer has any of the L accessories!

As for the actual meaning of the L and the S sorry I don't know, you may find something here http://www.1302super.com/
I have only found references to cabrio's when websites talk of 1302LS's.
