hi,

as far as i know on my '77 kombi, my windscreen squirty thingymajig all works fine except that the little black tube you use to pressurise the tank keeps spitting the valve out... thus making it useless... does anyone have any suggestions? i considered maybe sourcing a cap from a '76 beetle washer bottle cos they seem to have done away with the little rubber hose, and just put the valve directly into the cap.

or maybe i could just glue it back in??

help??!?!

thanx

I replaced mine with a little electric motor that will be wired up to the switch in the steering pillar by using a microswitch. (Haven't yet got it completed, i've moved onto other jobs - the window scrapers)
That is always another option that would keep it working for a while :thumb

I went the electric option in my '73.
got the complete kit from Sprint's for under $20.
including bottle, pump, switch, and wiring.
Most people seem normal, till you get to know them.
