Anyone used on of these??

It is a semi merged system that fits in the original holes.
Apparently an OEM (well mexico) part

OK the preheaters dont flow like a stocker but it is a header, its 1/2 the price and the pea shooters are part of it.

George at Classic Vee Dub has sold a heap of them, so there must be a lot out there, I would have got one except the pipes are high & go through the original cut outs in apron, which I dont have

you might find something on thesamba because I have seen a lot of pics of American cars that have them

I know the headers are good - not sure about the muffler though - doesn't really look like it allows the gas to flow very smoothly does it? Then again, neither does a stocker.. You could chuck a hotdog muffler on it and sell the twin outlet.... 🙂

yeah, i not too sure about exhaust flow either.

i reckon a twin muffler setup the way to go. run two pipes past each other, one muffler per pipe, like in the shape of an X so you still get the heat thing going. the only downside, it could be a bit noisy...
