last week i got a note in my letterbox:
"hi I am Jerry I do car removals, if you want to get rid of your care please phone 9878**** cash paid"
this is the second time in a year that I have got a note like this.
why dont they realise that if I didnt want my car then it would be gone already? plus its worth a hell of a lot more than the $50 that removalists offer.
as if I would give it to a wrecker anyway! they're not laying their paws on my vw!!
anyway, these people piss me off! :repuke
ahh the joys of rollin around town in a rat 😉

In all fairness to that poor old removalist, in the eyes of the law, if a vehicle is unregistered/uninsured, then it should not be parked on a public road for legal reasons. Was your vehicle registered? Quite often the council will catch up with long term parked vehicles which are unregistered and have them removed. May I add at the owners expence if ownership is proven!
They don't take them to a wrecker, they take them straight to the crusher...
I own a towing company and usually leave one sitting out till I have a pair of worthless wrecks, and it doesn't pay enought to take just one any more, and some bloody idiot left a note on it offering to "Recycle" it for me...!!!
Unbelievable... It was parked 30 feet away from my tow truck... Some people just don't get it..
Might call him and say, "Yeah, Recycle it, take it away and bring me back a Brand New One"....!!!!🤘
I hate to admit it, but man, I think you're right....
Nah my car is most definitely registered and parked on my property!
same story with the real estate agents that drop off notes saying they want to sell our house for us....I'd like to ring and offer it up, but I don't think the landlord would appreciate it.
