Ever since I started usng FF pdf's have been a pain. They tried to open in a new window but the window always came up blank. Tonight I got the shits with it and went looking for a cure. I found a link saying just uninstall, reinstall AcroRead. So since I needed to update AcroRead anyway... thats what I did. Fixed the pdf opening problem. Only now it seems to have lost the pdf icon and is showing me the windows icon. No big deal, except I know it shouldnt be like that. How do I fix it?
Anti MS jibes not needed, just a fix that doesnt involve another OS or pdf reader.
And another thing... I found articles about how to speed up Adobe by removing a lot of the plug ins. But what I found was for V6 not V7 and it didnt work, caused adobe to crash. Anyone know what I can delete?
