Hi all
I am looking at buying a T4 for camping and mtn bike trips. I prefer the Caravelle over the Traveller. 1995-1998 seems affordable models for me.
My q's are... what sort of fuel efficiency do they have? 2L or 2.5L? Any troublesome areas I should take note of when searching? Rust areas? Engine cocerns etc etc
Any help most appreciated

Dont know that much about them but go the 2.5 over the 2.0
Otherwise go the turbo diesel

Hey mate i got a 2.4 diesel and its a single cab ute. Weighs in at 2450 kgs with tool box and for an 80 litre tank load it has done around 750 kms to the tank for the last year week in week out.Motor in mine with 155000 on the clock runs great not sure about the petrol though. I have heard that the gearboxs are a bit of a weak spot but mine is going fine. They came with real good body and paint warrenties so unless its had a dodgy body repair rust shouldnt be a drama.
Hey mate forgot one thing, they run out of legs easy, Gearing could be a bit higher, Mine being a diesel tops out at 125km on the tacho. Even at 110-115kmph they rev pretty hard.
