We had a good morning at the show, there were hundreds of very cool cars there (and some boring Fords as well 😉 ).
We were next to the Shannon's stall, and their guys bumped up the agreed value on all our cars by a few thousand, so the event was definately worth the price of admission (free!).

A lot of work has gone into this topless bug. The paint is that special kind that looks purple most of the time but changes to orange from certain angles.
Formula Vee. It's funny to think that the motor and suspension of this racing car are identical to what's in my bug!
From a distance we thought that this was a Type 3. When we got close up we discovered that it's a BMW 700, built in '64 (they started making them in '59). Not only is the styling very similar to a Type 3, it also has a rear boxer motor!
