Will my Dell computer work in the UK? I know the power sockets are different but apart from that would i be able to hook up to the net etc without problems.

I have only just bought it , $2,500! and if i can use it back home i'll consider keeping it. If i cant use it i will sell it.

Any ideas

Thanks Dan

Shouldn't be a problem. The only issue you might have is with Dell warranty portability to the UK.

I'd ring Dell and ask them, But I can see no reason why it wouldn't. I bought an expensive digital bass gt pre-amp in the uk a while back and brought it home. It works fine and all I did was change the plug on the power supply.

Anyway, isn't that the ida with laptops...you can take em anywhere. 😉

Yes it will!

I brought loads of stuff here from the UK, no problem. We both run on 240v.

It will work, just change the plug.
