Hi there,

Aussieveedubbers has become listed in several "black lists" such as SPEWS and Spamhaus run by fascist terrorists, because our DNS nameservers also are authoritative for some adult web sites - sites completely unrelated to us in any way.

Aussieveedubbers is not an adult web site and we have no control over the other customers of our dedicated host and nor should we care. It's like saying "we will block all people who live in Canberra from leaving because a few people make pr0n there". That's really stupid.

More details on these fascist terrorists: Click here

We are a prime example of an innocent site: we do not spam and yet we are cut off from certain parts of the Internet patrolled by these fascist morons.

I have not found a way to get us off these lists as yet. What happened to innocent until proven guilty? In the SPEWS and Spamhaus part of the world, there is no such thing.

Such blacklists do not work, and that is my professional opinion as a security professional with 10+ years in the industry. They must be stamped out.

This has two outcomes:

1. Password resets do not work reliably to all ISPs. If you ask for a password reset and it does not come, your ISP uses one of these blacklists. If that happens, please use the "Contact Us" button at the top of this page, and hopefully mail will get to me. If you don't here from me in 24 hours, my e-mail address is vanderaj @ greebo . net

2. E-mail to member (which is an option if the member you want to contact has a listed e-mail address) will also not work under these circumstances if the destination member uses an ISP which uses those black lists. There is nothing I can do to fix this scenario.

I encourage you ... if you use ISPs which subscribe to these blackmail organizations to either move to a different ISP, or better yet, encourage your existing one to drop the use of these black lists.

Yes, I'm steamed, but it's for good reason.

thanks,
Andrew
