does anybody have a really good steering box for a 78 kombi at a reasonable price and in Victoria? i would like one that has plenty of adjustment left, smooth operation (no notches) and no damage to the case. Cheers. tom

Last I heard new ones were up around the $1000 mark.

I got a reconditioned one a few years ago for $300 from a VW place in Seaford. No-one else could help me back then with a decent second hand one.
