I have for sale 4 of 14x7 4 stud 130mm PCD 6 hole kidney alloys with 3 month old 195/60 tyres ($450 worth). The offset is different front and rear by one inch to suit buggies or widened guards. The wheels are in near perfect condition and the tyres are like new. Photo is of them currently fitted to my Sabre Taipan.

Price is $550 ono for the set.

Contact al356037@bigpond.net.au for more pics/details

Thanks

Mick.

That pic was with the old tyres, this one with the new low profiles showing the offset difference:

Yup, she's a sweet unit. It's a DRB Sabre Taipan MKII. Type 3 chassis with integrated spaceframe and four-point roll cage, IRS, full race suspension, Kombi 4 speed and a worked Subaru EA81. One of only a handful registered in QLD. (A mate has one with a flip front and back and a mid-mounted 1500 twin carb Nissan, DESPERATE to get rid of it as he has a baby on the way - want's $9000 cash (half the minimum Gilltraps valuation of these cars) if anyone is interested. Google Sabre Taipan for sale and you'll see its original ad at $17,500.

The different offset just means that the rears stick out further from the hubs than the fronts by one inch, so I think they are designed for flared rear guards.

If you want to try them on your car just call me and pop over. I'm at Sunnybank.

Cheers,
Mick.

I'm trying to convince She Who Must Be Obeyed that I need the red Sabre as well (when I bought this one the question was: "But where will the baby seat go?" The answer: "In your bloody Mazda of course!").
Two is infinitely better than one, surely. And mine handles UNBELIEVABLY, so I can only imagine what a mid-mount would be like!

I'm getting the replacement wheels next week, so these wheels won't actually be available until then, but any time you want to come over and try them on just give me a call on the mobile listed, or e-mail me at:

al356037@bigpond.net.au

I'm a shift worker so I'm available at different times, different days - mornings all next week and all day the weekend following.

Cheers,
Mick.

There's a guy coming to trial fit them today. He's putting them on a buggy, and is pretty sure he'll take them. If not I'll let you know Jaryd. I hadn't heard from you, so I advertised them elsewhere, and a guy called me about them on Monday, then of course I got your message on Tuesday! Anyway, you're next in line of the three other people who want to check them out if this bloke doesn't take them.

Thanks and cheers, and a happy Easter to all!

Mick.
