Just a quick one for you- the correct name for the part is "demister fans"... Ambulance fans were an overhead console type setup in the split kombis, and pushed fresh-air into the rear of the vehicle.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely,and in good condition- but rather tossed in sideways - Beer in one hand - chocolate in the other - body totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO, What a Ride"
