I got a 1500 semi auto 69' bug. Its been a street bug previously owned by an old lady, who then sold it to another dude who took it for the engine, and has been passed to me. It was to be registered till march 06' this yr. I bought it in Feb.
So it hasn't been thrashed or bashed, especially driven by an old lady. And now, its in the process of being baja-ed. I will be doing a manual conversion.
So... For any good 1600/1500 manual gear boxes (either bug or kombi), clutch tubes or $$$, i gotz a semi auto box up for grabs, torque converter, along with those vacuum canister and auto tranny reservoir along the side under the rear fenders.
Give me an offer. the box is nice and clean :P
