Have been going on the trainlines for yrs now, but always go past park road station, to see many vws, including beetles and kombis, parked along that Burke Street, outside park road station, Always.
Whats there? Vw spares? Vw servicing? Might have a look today, otherwise someone here can tell me and save me the walking 😉 Hehe.
Anyways, looks like i'm trekking there for a job induction today, will tell yas what it is anywho.

Hey karmen, that email hasn't appeared.
I do have the 67 seatbelts around.
Yeah, went for my induction 2day for Tandy, Couldn't be bothered waiting for a cleveland train to take me one station up to Buranda. So i walked from park road.
Checked out the place. IT was heaven!! If u had money. Classic motor and gearbox reconditioning, that engineering place u mentioned, and reupholsterers etc. etc.
Buranda and woolongabba are full of dubs. was having a ball. Saw golfs, bugs (late and early), bay kombis, caravelles) Even got a ride with a fella who was in the induction with me, went to get some lunch. Had a ride in his VW polo. Not the best car, 6000 RPM is in the red on its tacho 🙁
Maybe it looks bad after walking past a japanese car shop titled "Street Machine" or "street Racers" or something. Supras, convertible RX 7s, skylines and the lot.

The Polo's are a great car! My better half had a big accident in ours..!!! :o
The safety cell worked a treat, and a VW Dealers rep got some photo's of our car and sold a number of Polo's because of the Safety factor.

The place on the corner is Street Machines,
it never used to be a JapCrap joint, it used to be a Muscle Car place (Mustangs, Vette's, Cobra's etc...) But then it went Jap so it also lost its appeal to most.

WOuld rather prefer if it still was the muscles. I just neva had the opportunity to sit in a supra before.
Yeah, the polo is definitely a safe looker.
Just on the performance side I was observing.
Yet again, you could even say the lack of performance ability in stock form IS a safety feature Lol.
The low revs would keep the engine alive for ages one would think.

Meh, if I want to see muscle cars, I go outside to the garage.
