Well,
Let me say I don't know the seller and I don't know
the engine. I note the seller is new, is selling on what
he/she 'has been told' and that it is sold 'as is'.
2500cc with a standard inlet manifold?
I personally wouldn't touch it. But if you're looking I'd
be getting some real specs on the crank and barrels
and photos of absolutely everything including heads before bidding anything.
And it'd still be a risk.....

i agree - however i would still buy it 🙂

I wouldn't buy it.It obviously wasn't any good the last time it was for sale a couple of months ago...same description and sob story and the same pictures as the ones i saved from the last add....wouldn't touch it,but thats just my opinion.:duh:blush

And I say what both of my grand-masters say (Doc and the King)
Maybe ask him to measure the bore size?
It was an 1835 a few months ago and he was told that.
I would imagine that it still is.

hey folks this was the stuff i originally found at a place near where i live, did someone here buy it? or maybe its the original seller selling it? yeah i was offered it well the bloke asked me if a was into volksies and i said yeah, obviously, he then said his dad used to be into vdub drag racing and his dad had an old drag engine in his garage, any way it then lead onto him draggin it out for me, but i thought it wasg going to be more complete, so i passed on it. if it is still with the orig owner, im fairly sure he just wants to get rid of it.
any way thats my say
cheers
Yep it is indeed an 1835.
now I have more bidding competition if its good
how good is the source????

Gees!
if its 92mm P&Cs then its running a stroker crank
of around 92mm to make 2500cc!
Awesome!
Can't understand why he hasn't got a bid yet?
🙅
The heads are good,
stock 69mm stroke dunno if its c/w or not tho
A witty saying proves nothing.
