I am haveing troubles with my engine not revving out properly. It will run fine up to around 3500rpm then seems to break up and cough and splutter.. It will however rev fine to 5500rpm while not under load.

I have changed coil, leads, condenser, plugs, fuel pump, carb, points. basically everthing expect the dizzy.

and its starting to drive me insane... if anyone has any ideas please help..

Thanks

people might require a bit more info on the engine type/modifications etc to be able to help you out...

Do you have a fuel filter? There may be a partial fuel blockage somewhere.

Are You timing the 009 dizzy at 32 degrees maximum advance with a timing light???

You can't time a 009 at idle....
