George at Classic VW has a BRAND NEW steering box for a 1302 and early 1303.
I would buy it my self but i have rack and pinion now
I have seen ONE for sale before. These done come up often. $250 for a good 2nd hand. Twice that for a "well" rebuilt one - IF you can find the kit and some one to do it properly
