My first post was" Newbie wants to buy"

Second post - how many VW clubs are in the Sydney area?
I know this is asking for trouble, but which is the best one to join?

there are a few there is club vw, flat4 and the vw club of australia. as for which one is better it comes down to personal choice and mine is that i dont belong to any of these clubs because of the politics involved within them, id rather just drive my bug and enjoy it

Ah, politics.......should have thought.
I'll keep an eye out for events, go along to a few, and make up my own mind. Thanks for the inside info.

Onya Bazza. Spread the word.....😘

f3dk caters for anyone on the Central Coast through to the upper north shore. Our runs are mainly on the Central Coast, but we are also looking at organising a cruise to the 50's Fair at Rose Seidler House.

Cheers....

Depends on what you want and what you put into the Club.

Dont go along to a club and expect " IT " all to be done for you, its up to the all the members to make the Club work

Take your pick

Club Vee Dub Sydney
Flat Four VW Club
VW Historical Society
Volkswagen Club of NSW
Classic & Vintage VW Club
Formular Vee Association
Club Audi Australia
Sydney Karmann Ghia Club
Australian Component Car Club
I read it on FACEBOOK so it must be true

Point taken regarding clubs. I've been secretary and am now president of another car club, so I know all about getting involved!
Mind you, it's a two way street. Existing members should be mindful to welcome new members and not be too cliquey. That was te main reason I left two other clubs.

Hi Wayne

I see your still kicking your toys around the sandpit, you just gave a perfect example of interclub poltics. I wouldnt be surprised if beelzebug didnt want want anything to do with any VW car club after your comments.

beelzebug, check out a few clubs, go to their meetings and events and see what you think. You can still enjoy your VW without being in club, just checkout the coming events section of this website to see whats on.
