john just picked up a p500 transport on eday ex cond.also found the pierre lurne version but they want 1k for it.

was that you!? hehe...... Not a bad score mate, i used to use that and also a p700 as well. Pierre lurne is better though. But this should start you off nicely. It might sound a bit dry depends on your DAC. Let me know how you go mate.
