Yes I have sold My Kombi. It is going back where it come from. Nambucca.... Very sad, But I got what I wanted and very happy. Yes took me a while but there was a big Bid war on ebay for it...

No.. Nothing will replace My Kombi.... It was so sad seeing it drive off into the sunset...
The ppl that bought it are going to live out of it... Travel the Austarlian coast so if you guys see it give it a wave....

And to the guy (butcher) who wanted it so badly- Had a major argument with me about it yesterday... He said I can't sell it to anyone but I said match the price and its yours but no he couldn't.... He was not Happy...

my wife cried when i sold my old beetle. odd really, it was the same car that broke down repeatedly, sucked money and near removed the top of one of her fingers. never can tell how vws effect people. 😂

tough luck for the butcher, your car, your entitled to sell it too who you like as long as you haven't accepted a deposit. hopefully he'll get into holdens now and butcher useless cars instead.😁

Hehehe... the PO of my Kombi and his wife gave her a fat kiss each and shed a tear or six when we went to pick her up... and spent an hour or so giving dad and I a detailed rundown of everything we mi8ght possibly need to know about her. 🙂

They really do become a part of you... I'd be inconsolable if I ever had to sell mine or if it got written off for any reason... regardless of whether I could replace it with a better one!

Yes it did sell.... The Guy who won the BID come round on Sunday with his wife and they loved it. It was what they wanted and how good it looked.. He said I'll pick it up Tomorrow with the money...

Get a phone call yesterday arvo from them saying.. "Marty I have a problem. I can't get the money." 😠

I said you are Joking went skits... I said why BID if you don't or can't get the Money... Not Happy. So yes it is back on Ebay so If any one wants it Bid cause it is Polished and clean and ready for Cruising!!!!

I remember the day selling my kombi, to an emo kid who couldnt drive it 🙁 Was a sad day!! Despite costing me all the money i made that year, breaking down almost every week and also almost losing a finger- I loved that kombi !! I cried for about 2 hours after..
