I have a king and linkpin front end and I want to induce some negative camber, what is wrong with adjusting the shims around on the front end ? I use if for sprints and hillclimbs so it would be of much benefit.

Also it just has a standard sway bar on the front- and it tends to understeer a great deal- any suggestions.

Dumone,

I had a quick look at the whiteline website and couldn't find a price anywhere.. any idea what they cost.

I have a camber compensator on the back- so thought I would just go with the front bar to start with ?

Thanks

Unfortunatly you can not adjust Neg Camber into a K & Link front end by adjusting the shims.

If you do moove them it will only cause the trailing arms to BIND up and jam. the idea of the shims is to align the upper n lower arms so they travel through the same arc when going over bumps and allow free travel and make the suspension work

Best off changing to a Ball joint front end and bending the arm in a press and using a excentric adjuster

you could also fit a steering arm reducer ( if you can find one ) if yr getting under steer wouldnt a rear sway bar reduce this as well.
I read it on FACEBOOK so it must be true

You can if they're a little worn... 😉

The only thing you can do is add lots of caster by jacking the front beam; will give you camber gain on corners
