That wheel offset calculator is excellent. Will save me a lot of measuring. Thanks, Bizarre.
A POSSE AD ESSE.

I live in my own little world, but it's okay, they know me here.

I have found that no matter how much measuring you do, you never really know until things are bolted up. During my research before buying my 17x7.5 ET52 wheels I found that there were so many variables/setups that it made it hard to know if things would clear or not.

Take for example my front wheels - they cleared the stock guards with a narrowed beam (using cb dropped spindles and discs on a b/j front end) - all was sweet until you turned the wheels (fck-all turning circle). Hence I had to narrow the beam 80mm then run 20mm spacers (engineer approved) - still clears guards and now clears trailing arms.

My mate ran the same width wheels with ET23 (from memory) using link pin front end on 63 pan/body with discs (but no drop spindles) - he had to narrow his beam 2inches to clear the guards.

By all means do your best to measure things accurately, but be prepared for things not to work perfectly first time around (you may be luckier than all of us though!).
