It seems like such a small thing, but for a modified car, getting through every year seems like a milestone in itself. 2 years of driving now and no major breakages, so not bad really.

At the same time we transfered it into the missus name coz she gets a carers pension for our daughter and hence doesn't have to pay rego fees. So that means I'm married to a pensioner with a buggy now, instead of just being married to a pensioner... 😀

The other thing I have to say is this, I've been to the RTA 3 times in the last few days and they were very helpful. I don't know why I was surprised by this, but anyway, it's nice to have a govt department help you instead of frustrating you.:thumb

Maybe it's because they think i'm old and harmless now that I'm going grey and loosing my hair....They're up for a nasty shock. 🤘

whether your car is modified or not, its always a good feeling knowing that you are responsible for keeping another relic on the road for one more year.

Deano: as my grandmother used to say when we were pretending to be innocent...

"look out or your halo will choke you."

Mick: You know the funny thing about the yesterday was that it was the missus birthday and we were a bit short of cash, she only scored a book and some stationary off me and kids. So I told her I'd given her a new car for her birthday. 😂
