I wish someone would write the 1,000,001 tricks for fixing, undoing, attaching things for VWs. I suppose this is why this forum is so good, wealth of knowledge and most of that from trial and error and no lack of embarrasment when you found out how easy it is.
Do you know how long it took me to work out that you put the dash clips back on first when putting the gauge cluster back into a bay kombi. Here I am thinking what German hands were that bloody small to fit under there and of course I was too embarrassed to ask for help on the forum! :P
