Does anyone know where i might locate a fuel pump for the injected engine. The one with the 3 connections on one end(suction, delivery and return to tank). Needs to run at 28-32 psi. Is there an alternative to the original unit that works? Have not had running yet - just purchased. The cold start has been disconnected. Is this necessary in sunny QLD?
PS Was running before stored under house for last six years.

Trouble finding any workshops that have had alot to do with the fuel injection on these models. Any info would be great.

Cheers

just run a T3 Kombi EFI pump your fuel regulator will do the rest, adjust as needed.

What about the return from the pump? Do i just return the line from the motor directly back into tank?

Either that or tee the supply line from the tank to the inlet side of the pump.

Whatever is easiest for you.

Someone said a fuel pump from a VL Commodore would do the job?

You will have a very hard time finding any mechanics who know anything about the D jet FI system and an even harder time finding any who are interested in working on it. They will just tell you to install carbs. You will have to learn all about it yourself. A really good site for type 3 FI info is type3.org. Just post your questions there. You can also find people who have second hand FI stuff they will sell you.
