Item : I have two nissan sr20 n/a jap motors , these are low k units
1st one done less than 20 meters $450.00
2nd on done around 1000ks ( jap test car was an auto 4x4 blue bird ) $300.00
these are 140HP

on the 4x4, how is the engine bolted in.. transverse? i.e. which way is the phelnum pointing? I know some that may be interested. Got a manual flywheel anywhere?

whats done to the motors to get 140Hp ?
nothing , lighten the fly wheel , damo did this in Perth
I called Damo , he fitted a set of $200.00 headers & a pod air fliter .
Neil, I would ring Damian again and ask him what his true dyno figures are before you start quoting numbers like that. As you know I know this motor and the one Damian runs has a standard computer. and I know he doesnt pull those numbers.
I was going to say the samre thing Moose. the escort was very fast but I don't think 140 horses. I do a lot of work with these motors and even with a autronic computer 140 would be big numbers.
I ask him for the dyno sheet .My stock ej20 n/a has 121.6 hp so one would think the SR would have a bit more power .
I called agin to conferm the hp & I would like to say I am wrong
