Ok so I've got the standard bj beam on Elmo with the disk drop-spindles. I want to put in the 2" narrowed bj beam with single avis adjuster.

So what's the best way to swap them over?

I'm thinking maybe undoing the allen screws at the base of the arms that lock them to the torsion leaves, swapping the beams and then bolting the arms back on (sorry if this is a stupid idea).

Otherwise I guess maybe at the balljoints, but again this may be a stupid option.

Cheers for any help gurus.

Doubt the brake lines would have enough slack to remove hubs with the trailing arms plus they're heavy and you wouldn't want to juggle it all back in as a complete assy. Your best bet would be to remove the hubs at the balljoints and hook the hubs up with some wire or something so you dont need to undo the brake lines. Remove the long tie rod then drop the beam. Trailing arms can come off before or after the beam is out. Swap over whatever you need & throw in the new beam & bolt the hubs back up.
