so I finally got around to trying to fit my scratch guards again, i got the door handle off and everything!! but...
how well are they meant to fit??
like are they meant to be snug against the body??
mine didn't seem to fit very well at all...maybe they are even the wrong ones??
has anyone else had this problem??
thanks, karina
🙂

I beieve the late type 3 and beetles would be the same
as the door handles are the same...

Karina,
You may have to file down the edges to get it to fit under the handle..

the chromed thick copper scratch plates are a tight fit..
not sure with the aluminium ones..

best of luck

they are not snug at all, they are a different shape and are nowhere near as deep as what the should be im pretty sure.
how different are the shapes between early and late type 3's?
