To suit 64 Beetle
Where can you get one piece door windows from and what do you need to do to fit them?
Where can you get pop out rear windows which have a black trim/surround not chrome?
How much drama to fit the same?

here is a "How To" i did on pop outs. Mine is post 68. Yours will be pre 67 (obviously) Not much different except i believe you need to drill hinge holes and post 68 are built in

For black trim you will either need to paint or powder coat. Not available in black.

There "was" a how to on SBO for one pieces but i havent seen it lately. They moved things around.

If you had a stripped sheel would you do in the following steps
Fit Pop Outs
Remove Pop Outs
Paint Body
Do all Wiring
Upholster Hood etc
Re Fit Pop Outs

Thats how i would do it.

I once had a set of popouts i pulled apart and powder coated black, would never do it again because they are very hard to get apart and then hours of work putting them back together.LOL

i have a set of early beetle pop outs if your interested?
all the rubers are in excellent condition and has NOS latches.Send me a u2u. Not black! LOL
