I third the empi alternator pulley - mine was wobbly even when spun at hand speed - didn't risk it at engine rpm!

chrome dress up items for the engine bay in general!!

i've got a box full of broken chrome tinware, pulleys, genny straps, dizzy clamps etc LOL

95% is crap from taiwan and if its not broken by the time u put it on it soon will be

if u want chrome get the original parts dipped
better quality metals and will have a much better finish that will last ages and not go rusty even sitting in dry storage
orig german stuff u cant go wrong

Hey I've had an empi part that didn't break, an aerial ball. Probably the only reliable part they've made LOL

Whats wrong with the Holley "bugspray"? I have a Baja that has had a 200cfm bugspray on it for 7 years now.I haven't adjusted it in......its been that long that i can't remember the last time i touched the carby. It does 80klm round trip every weekday and has been for the last 5 years.
Or the monza xhausts for that matter?
Is there a reason for these dislikes or personal opinion?
I do agree the clear and coloured dizzy caps fail pretty quickly.

Bugsrays are a personal thing as they are a very on/off carb that tends to freeze up because of the cast iron body

The monza exhausts is a documented power robbing devive that should be melted down and turned into baked bean cans

I think you will find graphs in these test by VWTrends
