yeah i`ll get my digi camera off the ex girlfriend next week & take some pics of all of the stuff.
The Donk is completly complete , tinware, carb, manifold, fuel pump,,, everything is fitted ready to fire up & does run, but has either a big end knock or a piston is hitting a head,,,it was done up a few years ago & never fitted as we run tested it on the ground first with a gearbox case with starter fitted etc & there was talk from the guy who built it that when the heads were done up that they were not finished right somehow (welding & machining etc) & he said that it sounds like the piston is hitting the head, but i can`t tell from the sound of it, could be a big end for what it sounds like to me...has new rings & should be sweet once the clunking is sorted & has also got a reco generator on it, new gaskets & flywheel seal etc etc etc,,,should have been all sweet after the build up, but just wasn`t... ran for a minute or so but we shut it down & parked the idea. $300 & it`s whoevers.
All The wheels are pretty good, will post pics next week... $200 for all 6 of them as a package.
the steering box was a 2nd hand one i just bought as a spare 15-20 odd years ago & has been sitting in my shed since...,I was smashing the side covers off them with the alloy V8 power launching jumps & stuff & ended up making up a mother bash guard for it so i just didn`t end up using the spare steer box & then sold the splitty after the Dpt of Tpt had a little hissy spit about it with the alloy V8 in her :-) , want $120 for it.

it`s taking up room in my shed & i`m not going to use it.
probly a strip down, then clearance whatever it needs to clearance whatever is hitting & whack it back together & you`ll have a good runner. i won`t tell you what was spent on it, makes me sick just thinking about it. I doubt that you`d need to spend any money reparing it, just a bit of work/time is all. Crickey the cyl heads alone are worth the money let alone the reco generator, pipes/muffler, early round fan housing,etc etc etc crickey!
i just figured that someone looking for an early (fixed gen post) donk would find them a bit hard to get these days & i really don`t think the price is unreasonable at all. anyways, maybe they`re everywhere & no body wants them ?

pick of beetle offset peco star wheels, slight rust but i can sand blast em if you like.
sorry but i forgot to get a pic of the steering box & the 13" peco stars with the sand tyres on em are stuck under a race mini, holding it up while we do some rust work.

please understand that if anyone wants to make an offer on the whole lot in one hit then i`m pretty sure i`ll take it, i just want to clear it all out.
so the steering box, the 1100cc donk, & the 6 wheels will go cheap as chips in one hit, ok???

$200 for the complete engine, remember it`s a runner with new rings & welded & machined heads & new valves & reco generator & full exhaust system & the earlky round fan housing carb, dist, fuel pump, & & & & & & etc etc etc ...
& $200 for all 6 wheels, 2 with the sand tyres on em
so come & buy the lot for $500, take it all away easy-peasy.

nah, no receipts ,,, Bob from East Brisbane Engineering did it all for us ages ago & sorry , no pea shooters either. i`ll go you half way at $150 for the donk but that`s it!!!, if you want to confirm it all just talk to Bob about it he will remember it ,he nearly came to Targa Tasmania Rally with me as service crew, the rally mini didn`t break down but the splitty ute did a few times, :-)
& i spent $200 having the generator done up at Mackey Electrical in Bulimba, so you get a reco generator for $150 & the rest of the entire engine for free :-)
Crickey , i would have thought it would have gone like a Zertec at $200 , ah well, maybe i`ll just keep it & find an oval bug to stuff it into one day.

2 of em being 13" peco stars with 9R sand diggers on em (They`re huge) & trust me if you`re into sand driving then you just cannot get better tyres than these. & if you don`t know the tyres that i`m talking about then you just havn`t been "REAL" sand driving yet.
